The peaceful town of Beaufort County was shook as Roland Saul Bardales-Rivera, the third suspect in a gruesome murder case, was arrested on Wednesday. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office briefed about the arrest, saying Bardales-Rivera was taken into custody and booked at the Beaufort County Detention Center.
In this shocking case, the victim was identified as Jarin Josiel Avila-Chirinos, who tragically lost his life in the Hilanda Drive community. The case had been sending tremors through the residents of Burton over the past week, leaving them anxiously awaiting updates.
Bardales-Rivera’s arrest follows the earlier apprehension of two others believed to be involved in the deadly violence which ended Avila-Chirinos’s life. The first one to get caught was Erbert Francisco Vargas-Caballero, a 36-year-old man charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. He was placed under arrest on Friday, August 30.
The second suspect, Edwin Humberto Martinez-Ruiz, 33, was arrested on charges of accessory after the fact of murder. Like Bardales-Rivera and Vargas-Caballero, Martinez-Ruiz too is currently being held at the Beaufort County Detention Center.
As the wheels of justice turn, investigators are continuing their work to piece together the complex puzzle of the circumstances that led to Avila-Chirinos’s death. The motive behind the murder and the relationship between the victim and the perpetrators are key pieces of information that the dedicated team is still working to establish.
The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who might have any useful information about this case to reach out and help them in their quest for truth. Their official phone number to call is 843-255-3294.
The secure confinement of the third suspect has goad the local community into hoping that they’re one step closer to justice and that the merciless murder of Avila-Chirinos will be solved soon, returning tranquility to their town. With renewed determination, the investigators persist in their pursuit of the truth, promising not to rest until the complete story of this tragic crime is told.
