Mark your calendars, folks! The expo’s set to take place on September 16, at the College’s fancy New River Campus in Bluffton. We bet you’re wondering what to expect? Well, fear not because they got it all covered, from information regarding scholarships and financial aid to having faculty and staff on-field to fill you in on everything you need to know.

The Culinary Institute of the South plans to throw open its doors for a grand opening in November. But eager future masterchefs don’t have to wait until then to step into the amazing world of culinary arts. The college is kicking off classes in October at the brand-new campus currently being built in Buckwalter Place in Bluffton.

Spoiler Alert: A Peek at the Culinary Institute

What’s the Culinary Institute of the South all about, you ask? Well, it’s a whopping 29,000 square-foot training facility. Just imagine the possibilities! It comes with six academic classrooms, two teaching kitchens, and two baking labs.

And get this, there’s even a lecture theater and teaching restaurant. Come 2022, it plans to open a FOODseum—an interactive museum that will tell the story of Southern food. Seems like food is not just about eating here, but also learning, huh?

For those who are already drooling and can’t wait to dive in, you can choose to specialize in Baking & Pastry, Culinary, or Hospitality. Whether you’re keen on snagging an associate’s degree or a certificate in these areas, they’ve got your back.
