Beaufort Police Respond to Shots Fired at Local Apartments

In Beaufort, South Carolina, local law enforcement officers were dispatched in response to reports of gunfire at Cross Creek Apartments on Tuesday evening. Thankfully, there were no reports of injuries or property damage as a result of the incident, according to the Beaufort Police.

The suspect tied to the shooting has since been arrested, law enforcement officials have confirmed. This latest incident comes not long after another shooting at the same apartment complex about two weeks ago, where one individual was tragically killed.

No Injuries or Property Damage Reported

It was a nerve-rattling event for the folks at Cross Creek Apartments. Fortunately, nobody was harmed and no property was struck during the incident, Beaufort Police revealed in a statement. As if that wasn’t enough to get your adrenaline pumping, it turns out this wasn’t the first recent incident of gun violence at this location.

Previous Shooting at Same Location

This isn’t the first time Cross Creek Apartments has been in the spotlight for a similar reason. A little less than two weeks ago, shots rang out in another incident. That time, the outcome was much grimmer, with one unlucky soul losing their life.

Suspect Apprehended
