Pinky, a proud native of Beaufort, has deep roots in our community, having grown up on beautiful St. Helena Island. She is no stranger to local pride, as she graduated from Beaufort High School. But that’s just the beginning of her impressive story! During her tenure, she was a game-changer, spearheading the implementation of the county’s very first Digital Budget Book. Talk about bringing government into the digital age! Thanks to her hard work and visionary thinking, she was also awarded the GFOA Distinguished Budget Presentation Award—a nod to her excellence!
Community service runs in her blood! Pinky is a lifelong member of Rotary International and currently takes on the role of President of the Lowcountry Rotary Club. Plus, she’s a respected member of the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Volvo Community Advisory Board. It’s safe to say she’s not just focused on numbers; she’s all about building connections and fostering community spirit.
Pinky is not only an accomplished professional but also a dedicated family woman. She and her husband, Bradley, have been happily married for 12 years and together they are raising their three wonderful children, Kalob, Gracie, and John. Sounds like a busy household!
With a bright smile, Harriott expressed her excitement about this new chapter: “I look forward to embarking on this exciting new journey,” she said in the release. “I am confident that my experience will continue to contribute to the mission of Beaufort County and expand our services to meet the needs of our residents while ensuring compliance and fiscal transparency.”
