Hey Reader, you must be thrilled about this news coming from Port Royal! A new branch of the Beaufort County Library is set to make quite a splash in this exciting town.
With the doors of the brand-new library branch opening to the public on Wednesday, August 21, at 2 p.m., the community of Port Royal is all set to celebrate. And you know what? You’re invited! Yup, there’s going to be a Beaver County-style Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Celebration on Saturday, August 24. It’s filled with a story time, refreshments, and guess what, the Ribbon-Cutting will begin at 10 a.m.!
The latest addition to the Beaver County Library lineup will be decked out with collections of over 5,000 materials. That’s plenty of books, movies, and so much more to enjoy! With everything from dedicated meeting and conference rooms for community use to cool tech resources, there’s a lot to explore. Public computers and a nifty little self-service scan, fax, and email station are included.
A great thing about the new branch is its flexible working hours on weekdays and weekends. On Mondays to Thursdays, the doors of the library are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. For folks who can only make it on Fridays and Saturdays, no worries! The library is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on those days.
At the grand opening, you will have the opportunity to register for your library card, check out materials, and take a grand tour of the building. Talk to the friendly library staff, ask them your queries, and make the most out of this enriching experience. Note that the library will remain closed on Sundays. But hey, we all need a day off, right?
So, bring along your love for books and knowledge when you visit the new library in Port Royal. It’s more than a library – it’s a community centerpiece, a place for people to come together, learn, and grow. Explore, discover, and most importantly, have fun at this brand-new spot in town!
