The hustle and bustle of local politics in Beaufort County has begun! Now that the filing date for local candidates has come and gone, it’s game on towards the much-anticipated Election Day. We’ve got a mix of familiar faces and fresh challengers gearing up to run for seats on the Beaufort City Council, Beaufort County Council, Beaufort County Board of Education and the Beaufort Mayoral seat.
