Juvenile Nabbed Following Gunshots Incident in Beaufort, Police Confirm

An Unexpected Turn of Events

The incident unraveled in the vicinity of Cross Creek Apartments located on the 300 block of Ambrose Run. Around 8 p.m., a patrolling officer was alerted by a local resident who had heard suspicious gunshots in the area. The quick-thinking local was able to give a detailed description of the suspect, a piece of crucial information that triggered an immediate search operation in the area.

The ensuing police canvass ultimately led to the identification of the suspect, who attempted to evade the long arm of the law by fleeing on foot. However, with the assistance of a supporting agency in the vicinity, the juvenile suspect was successfully cornered and apprehended.

Suspicion Increases as Stolen Firearm is Discovered

The subsequent search of the young suspect brought further intrigue to the case, as a stolen firearm was discovered in his possession. No injuries from the shooting were reported and, fortunately, no property was damaged during the incident.
