Get Ready to Jam! Island Jam Festival is Back in the Lowcountry!

If you’re a music lover and ready to enjoy some cool tunes after a long, hectic summer, we got you covered! The Island Jam Festival is back on Hilton Head Island in the Lowcountry! This September, the festival is returning with a lot more to offer. Five full days of music and 30 different artists performing across 20 shows, this festival will surely help you get your Grove back.

Music, Fun, and More!

The best part about the Island Jam Festival is that it’s not just about established artists and massive crowds. Along with big names like LoCash, Jeffrey Steele, and Earl Bud Lee, local talents from Hilton Head get equal spotlight. Imagine being in the crowd, head-bopping to great music, and suddenly discovering your next favorite artist who just happens to be from your own locality. Such is the fun-filled quest that this festival offers.

The festival is spread out over multiple venues, 8 to be precise, ranging from intimate corners like the Jazz Corner for a cozy evening with dinner to more spacious grounds like the Liberty Oak at Harbor Town.

A Festival for Reconnection

The goal is for residents and tourists to explore and enjoy the Lowcountry while fostering the spirit of community. As summer winds down on Hilton Head Island, the festival is seen as an opportunity for island residents to reconnect with one another after a busy period. According to the director of Cultural Affairs, Natalie Harvey, “September is a great time to be here. We kind of look at this songwriter’s festival as being the first of many great events that builds our community here on Hilton Head.”
