Here’s some exciting news for all the short film fans in Beaufort! The Beaufort Film Society (BFS) has just announced the program for their 2024 Shorts @ High Noon series. So mark your calendars cuz every Wednesday lunch break from September 11 through November 13 is gonna be a movie date!
The cinematic magic unfolds in the Technical College of the Lowcountry Auditorium, at 921 Ribaut Road, Building 12, in Beaufort. Make sure to be there by 11:30 a.m for check-in, so you can get settled in before the show starts at noon. The screenings will last about an hour, so you can be back at your desk by lunchtime ends. The admission is on the house, so that’s one more reason to show up!
Shorts @ High Noon will be featuring a variety of mini-movies from the 2024 Beaufort International Film Festival (BIFF). Here’s a sneak peak on what’s coming:
*BTW films with asterisks next to them are 2024 BIFF winners!
And the final jewel in the crown – on November 20, BFS members will vote on 1 of 3 BIFF 2025 submissions. So if you’re a BFS member, that’s your chance to have a say in deciding an official selection for the upcoming festival!
So gear up for a rollercoaster ride of emotions, laughter and thought-provoking narratives with the BFS Shorts @ High Noon. Whether you’re a short film enthusiast or just looking for an interesting way to spend your lunch break, you’re certainly in for a treat!
