Born on October 31 at an early 2:01 a.m., Colsen made his grand entrance into the world weighing 6 pounds, 11 ounces. What an exciting way to celebrate Halloween, right?
Colsen’s parents, Lauren McAlhaney and Adam Malphrus, are over the moon with joy, and we can’t blame them! They weren’t the only ones celebrating this spooky season at the Beaufort Memorial Collins Birthing Center—Colsen was one of three adorable babies born there on Halloween. This includes generous donors like the Foundation for the Carolinas – Greater Charlotte Business Community Disaster Relief Fund, Blue Cross BlueShield of South Carolina, Wells Fargo, Genentech, and even Rooms to Go and Delta Dental of South Carolina.
Grants totaling $450,000 have already been awarded from the One SC Fund to support vital food banks in the area, including Golden Harvest Food Bank, Harvest Hope Food Bank, Lowcountry Food Bank, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. These food banks are essential, ensuring that those in need have access to nourishing meals during tough times.
