Beaufort County Kicks Off Its 3rd Annual First Responder Food Drive

Hey there, Beaufort! As the holiday season approaches, it’s time to pull together and lend a helping hand to those in need. We’re excited to share that the 3rd annual Beaufort County First Responder Food Drive is officially on the calendar! Running from November 1 through December 13, this heartwarming initiative aims to collect non-perishable food items to help stock the shelves of local food banks before Christmas gets here.

A Heartfelt Gesture for the Community

This year, Beaufort County’s emergency response providers are joining forces again, showcasing the true spirit of community and compassion. The food drive’s mission is simple yet powerful: to gather food donations that can make a difference in the lives of families who may be struggling during the holiday season.

After all, the holidays are all about giving, and what better way to celebrate than by ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry? On December 16, 2024, the collected donations will be distributed to two local organizations: Help of Beaufort and Bluffton Self-Help.
