BFS’a 2024 Shorts @ High Noon: A Must-See Film Schedule in Beaufort

Hey, aspiring filmmakers and short film enthusiasts in Beaufort! Get ready for a rad set of mini movies. The Beaufort Film Society (BFS) has just revealed their timetable for the 2024 Shorts @ High Noon.

When and Where?

Each Wednesday from September 11 to November 13, BFS is going to show some cool short films from this year’s Beaufort International Film Festival (BIFF). And here’s the best part: you can come over every week at the Technical College of the Lowcountry Auditorium, Building 12, around 921 Ribaut Road. Just remember that check-in starts around 11:30 a.m. The shorts last for an hour, give or take. Even better, admission is totally free.

What’s Playing?

The September-to-November mini film fest schedule is packed with a wide variety of short films, animations, and student films. From thought-provoking narratives to vibrant animations, there’s something for everyone.

September’s Shorts

Expect quirky 4-minute animation *Dandelion* and a 9-minute treat for the eyes *Slobopoly* for September.

October’s Movie Treats

October will bring in some more fun with shorts like the 3-minute animation *Return* and the 14-minute short *Not The Same Clarence*.

Heading to November

November will wrap up the fest with moving pieces, including the 13-minute short *In Search Of* and the 16-minute head-scratcher *That’s Not My Mother*. Last but not the least, BFS members will pick one of the three submissions for BIFF 2025 on November 20. (A membership proof is needed for this vote, so don’t forget it!)

And just so you know, asterisks (*) beside certain film titles mean that they are winners of 2024 BIFF. So, don’t miss those!
