They protested against the U.S. detention camps positioned along the southern border, highlighting their commitment to human rights and community activism.

Beaufort’s karate sports sphere also witnessed an inspiring story the following year. Beaufort Karate Instructor Chuck Elias won a huge accolade by being promoted to the ranks of a ninth-degree Black Belt at the United Fighting Arts Federation (UFAF) International Training Conference in Las Vegas.
Accredited by the famous martial artist Chuck Norris, Elias was one of only ten individuals promoted to ninth-degree black belts globally. His achievement sparked a wave of celebration and pride across the Beaufort community.
