Hey guys, bad news from Beaufort, South Carolina. Things got grim Wednesday night at the Cross Creek Apartments. Cops say there was a deadly shooting, and it’s looking serious.
Around 9:50 p.m., the cops showed up on the 300 block of Ambrose Run, where the apartments are. They were answering a call about gunshots. Now what they found when they got there wasn’t pretty. A person who’d been hit by a lot of bullets was lying there. They tried to help the victim until the fire department and EMS could get there, but folks, the victim didn’t make it.
Cops aren’t telling us who the victim was just yet. They’re deal is, they want the victim’s family to know first, which is fair enough.
Police say it sounds like some big argument happened somewhere else, and then things ended up in this bloody scene. Right now, police are saying they don’t think there is a threat to the public.
If you’ve got any information, the investigator on this case is a guy named Setian. You can reach out to him at 843-322-7928. Or if you want to keep your identity a secret, you can always call the Beaufort Police Department’s tip line at 843-322-7938. Just mention case #24B33255.
In other news, some of us are getting pretty worried about Ernesto, the hurricane that’s just become a Category 2 and is moving toward Bermuda. So keep eyes on that too.
Take care out there, people. And if you have information about this shooting, do the right thing and pass it on. It might just bring peace to a grieving family.
