The city of Beaufort in South Carolina is taking the day off this Labor Day, folks. The town hall’s working bees are hanging up their call receivers and locking their computer screens on Monday, September 2, to honor the well-deserved workers’ day.
Joining the hiatus are our fellas from Capital Waste Services. They won’t be doing their usual rounds scooping up trash or picking up recycling stuff on Labor Day. So if you’re a Monday customer, hold on to your bins a little longer ’cause your pick-up day is moving to Tuesday. And Tuesday customers, take note as well, you’re getting bumped down to Wednesday. You get the drill!
Now, if you’re left wondering what to do this coming Labor Day, worry not! Savannah has got you covered. While Beaufort’s offices and waste services are taking a breather, Savannah has been busy preparing loads of events that guarantee a fun-filled holiday. Stay tuned for a list of these anticipated events and don’t forget to mark them on your calendars!
All in all, Beaufort’s getting a well-earned break. Cheers to everyone in town, have a great Labor Day!
