The county is pulling up its socks to take control of the situation. So, say goodbye to evening bug bites.

Helicopter Approach to Mosquito Control

Beaufort County is leaving no stone unturned in this war against mosquitoes. They’ve got a helicopter ready to buzz around the county in an effort to control these pesky bugs. Yes, you read it right, a helicopter!

Those of you who feel the mosquito problem is getting out of hand, can put in a service request or dial voicemail at the county office. Here’s the catch though, the county places traps throughout Beaufort to monitor the mosquito situation.
