“What Do You See?”: A New Art Exhibit Comes to Town
Hey, art lovers! Gear up because something cool is about to happen in town. The Society of Bluffton Artists, fondly known as SOBA, is ready to unravel its latest artist exhibit, “What Do You See?”, featuring the unique work of our very own local artist, Jane Capraro. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this one.
When and Where?
Mark your calendars, folks. This abstract art show is happening from Sunday, October 6 to Saturday, November 2, 2024, right at the SOBA Gallery. To make it even more exciting, they’ve arranged an opening reception on Friday, October 11, kickstarting at 5 p.m. It’s a perfect opportunity to meet the artist herself and immerse ourselves in her thought-provoking creations.
Who is Jane Capraro?
For those who are not aware, Jane Capraro, also known as JC Kuller, is not an ordinary artist. With her father, John Kuller, an illustrator and oil painter himself, she’s got the talent running in her blood. After spending years in the banking sector in New York City, our artist made a grand return to her first love: painting.
Under the wise guidance of Missy Gentile at SOBA, Jane dived into the world of abstract art, becoming a pro in expressing her personal vision and raw emotions on canvas. Her talent didn’t go unnoticed, and she bagged the coveted “Best in Show” award in 2024 for her piece, “The Queen”.
What to Expect at the Exhibition?
Jane’s work is all about energy, cloaked meanings, and the magic of art. The pieces reflect her journey and her vision of the world around her. You’ll see a mixture of humor, magic, peace, sadness, and even thought-provoking challenges and injustices. Sounds awesome, right?
If you want more info about the exhibit or fancy speaking to Jane personally, you can reach out to her via email at JCKuller@Outlook.com. Remember, it’s not every day we get a chance to explore such soulful artistry right in our hometown. So, grab this opportunity to experience the abstract world of Jane Capraro!
