Bluffton locals, have we got some exciting news for all you beer lovers! The Side Hustle Brewing Company, a local favorite gem, is spreading its wings and making its way to our charming town. So, buckle up and get ready to welcome a new spot to chill, and pour out some great times!
Meet The Side Hustle Brewing Co
This was not always this big, you know. Once upon a time, it was just a small gig happening in the garage of one of the Co-founders, Lee Holyoak. But passion coupled with expertise played its magic and turned this brewing hobby into a serious, full-fledged business. The name “Side Hustle” is a nod to this journey, the perfect balance between a full-time career and a passion for brewing. And boy, was it worth the hustle!
The Side Hustle Brewing Co is today known for its standout brewers who blend age-old brewing techniques with bold and exciting flavors. Their brews have bagged some serious awards! In 2023, they won a Bronze for their ‘Make It Rain’ in Juicy/Hazy IPA and a Silver for ‘South Island Pilsner’ at the U.S. Open Beer Championships. How cool is that?
Pouring Into Bluffton
In a recent announcement made by Moon King Entertainment Group, it was revealed that this brewing giant will be opening a Taproom in Bluffton. The new location? 10 Buck Island Road. They’ve got epic plans for the place!
Serving from Tuesday to Friday between 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., the taproom plans to have 10 of their amazing craft beers on tap. They’ll also offer four-pack versions of their core Fixed Assets, and seasonal Variable Assets to-go.
Ready to take a taste and fall in love with their exceptional craft beers? They can’t wait to serve their brews and share their warm hospitality either!
Grab a Glass, Have a Blast!
The Taproom, conveniently lodged in the old Island Packet newspaper building, sits right next to their largest brewery operation. Interestingly, they’re considering offering this place for tour opportunities in the future. Isn’t that an awesome idea? But until that becomes a reality, you can enjoy the indoors or make the most of the available outdoor seating.
Feel like munching while enjoying your beer? Fret not! There’s going to be food trucks from Fridays to Sundays. Imagine feasting on street food while sipping on the finest local craft beers. Heavenly, isn’t it?
Oh, and Side Hustle Brewing Co. will also continue serving customers at their original location (Hilton Head’s Beer Garden), so you can hustle on over there, too.
