Mark your calendars because the county is rolling out the red carpet for some exciting and free educational workshops in 2025, aimed at helping everyone go green! That’s right! The Beaufort County Solid Waste and Recycling department is hosting a series of fun and informative workshops called “Go Green”, and you won’t want to miss them.

These workshops are designed to be engaging and open to all, covering essential topics such as Stormwater, Composting, and Recycling. The goal? To educate residents about sustainable practices that can help protect our beautiful environment right here in Beaufort County.

- February 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. – Port Royal Branch Library (Adults only)
- Recycling 101
- March 4, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. – Beaufort Branch Library (All ages)
- March 10, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. – Lobeco Branch Library (Kids and teens)
