This cherished tradition promises to dazzle onlookers with a spectacular showcase of colorful lanterns, created by residents, visitors, schools, local groups, and the talented lantern artist Chantelle Rytter.

When and Where to Catch the Parade

The festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. and run until 7:00 p.m. It will be a parade like no other, winding its way north along the beach, from Alder Lane to Coligny Beach Park. But that’s not all! The parade will continue down North Forest Beach Drive and head towards Avocet and Lagoon roads. So, if you’re looking for a fun night out, this is the perfect event to enjoy with family and friends!

Getting to the Parade

For those planning to attend, parking will be limited, so it’s a good idea to arrive early! You can find parking at various spots around the area. To make things easier, a complimentary shuttle service will be available from 4:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. at the University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB), whisking spectators to and from the parade. How convenient is that?

Best Viewing Spots!

There are multiple spots to catch the parade magic. Consider setting up your viewing area along the beach between Alder Lane and Coligny Beach Park, along North Forest Beach Drive, or venture down to Avocet Lane and Lagoon Road. Don’t forget to stick around for the grand finale at Lowcountry Celebration Park—it’s sure to be an unforgettable ending!

And what’s a parade without some exhilarating music? Four awesome bands will be on hand to get everyone in the festive spirit. Get ready to rock out with the Black Sheep Ensemble, Soda City Band, the United States Marine Corps Dirty Boots Brass Band, and the Atlanta Drum Academy. The tunes will surely keep the energy high!

Food Truck Festivities!

But wait, there’s more! No event is complete without delicious food, and this parade will feature some fantastic food trucks! Starting at 12 p.m., Lowcountry Fresh will be serving up their mouthwatering delights, and at 1 p.m., Peculiar Pig will join the party with their tasty offerings.
