Cleaning Up May River

The third annual Car, Truck, Jeep, and Bike Show hosted by Caring Hearts of SC takes place on May 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ridgeland Secondary Academy of Excellence on Jaguar Trail in Ridgeland. You can enter your vehicle for a fee of $25, while spectators can enjoy the fantastic display of vehicles completely for free. Donations are also welcome to support this great cause!

Operation Bunny Drop in Hardeeville

For a unique Easter experience, Hop on over to Hardeeville for the Operation Bunny Drop happening on April 8, 10, and 12, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be spreading joy by visiting homes of Jasper County residents, providing kids with a delightful experience. For a fee of $20 per child, participants will receive a meet and greet with the Bunny, pre-filled eggs hidden in their yard, and a cheerful photo along with a goodie bag!

A Special Breakfast for Veterans

In a heartfelt gesture, a breakfast program honoring Hampton County Vietnam War veterans is set for March 29, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the American Legion Hut in Hampton. Family members of veterans are warmly invited to this meaningful event, which will honor the memory of POW Walter Ferguson Jr., who bravely gave his life during the Vietnam War.

Women’s Empowerment Event

Women in the Lowcountry can look forward to an inspiring women’s empowerment event led by Wendye Savage of Gillisonville this spring. Having a background in mental health advocacy and experience hosting conferences, she is set to motivate and uplift women through her discussions and activities.
