Important Dates for Your Diary

The office will be closed to the public during this training week, but don’t worry! The team has made arrangements for an administrator to be available via phone and email. So if you have any pressing needs or want to set up an appointment in the Beaufort office, you can still reach out. The office will be back to its usual business hours on Monday, April 7.

Bluffton’s Office is Closed Too!

Enhancing Senior Living in Beaufort County

Lowcountry Council of Governments and Sprenger Health Care, the county is offering a lineup of fun activities at eight recreational locations.

Whether it’s regional field trips, card games, dominoes, scrapbooking, line dancing, bingo, yoga, Zumba, birthday parties, or picnics, there’s something for every senior to get involved in! These initiatives are wonderful opportunities for seniors to mingle and make lasting memories.

Community Support for Seniors

Beaufort County is also teaming up with local nonprofits through a Community Services Grant Program. This program aims to enhance the quality of life for seniors, with awardees including organizations like Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Bluffton Self Help, Family Promise, Good Neighbor Free Medical Clinic, Habitat for Humanity, Lowcountry Food Bank, Memory Matters, and Volunteers in Medicine. It’s heartening to see so many community leaders come together to support our senior neighbors!

Honoring Our Heroes

Saturday, March 29. A Vietnam War Veterans Day Ceremony will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Beaufort National Cemetery. This is a great opportunity to honor the service and sacrifice of Vietnam War veterans. The event will also include a pinning ceremony, and everyone is invited—veterans, their families, and the general public.
